Organic vegetable are being cultivated at small farm levels with the reason that seasonal vegetables are grown with as cash crops. The uses of chemical fertilizer and pesticide are in huge quantities for these crops. The yield and early growth is expected by the farmer for better return is main reason of this use of pesticide.
Now a days there are also some traces found for the use of synthetic hormones for early growth. The synthetic hormones are almost poison for human health especially for pregnant women and infant.
Fortunately some companies have come forward to initiate the Organic farming of vegetables and the higher cost of production is being met by viability gap funding from various sources.
